GARRANO NEW FLEECE

Aigle
Aigle Garrano Fleece

Everyone needs a fleece, but finding the right one can be a minefield. In essence, they have to be made from a high quality insulating fabric that’s hard wearing and which dries quickly. With that simple premise, how can there be so many variations on a theme? Go to any outdoor clothing store, and you’ll see racks of the things in every colour and shape. Some are first class, some are downright rubbish. I know, because I’ve had the lot at some point or other.

Aigle have created a selection of practical and stylish fleeces, and this one ticks all the boxes for general outdoor use.

It has a full-length zip. That may sound like a no-brainer, but there are hundreds of fleeces on the market that you must pull on over your head. All very well for excluding draughts, but a real pain in the neck, sometimes literally, when you just want to whip it on or off. Also, its very tricky to control temperature with a pullover fleece if you are exercising hard and want to allow some airflow.

The collar, and trim to the zip have a faux leather bead, making this a very comfortable wear, and helping to exclude draughts from the zip. Good, deep, zipper pockets and sufficient fabric to cover your bottom make this a first class choice for insulation and general use.

I use mine under my Aigle Edimbourg jacket in chilly conditions. Cosy, cryptic and dry. Perfect!
