BENYLSPORT WELLINGTON BOOT

Aigle

Aigle Benylsport WellingtonWellies should be waterproof and come half way up your shins, or even higher. Beyond this, it’s sometimes hard to see what difference there could be between one pair of wellington boots and the next. However if you spend any amount of time with your feet in this time honoured wet weather gear, then you should look at getting a good pair.

So what makes a good pair of wellies? Lots actually! It really does depend to some extent just where you intend to use them, but for a first class all rounder, the Aigle Benylsport is the business.

I first found these boots when my pair of “other” green wellies (from a different manufacturer) sprung a leak less than a year after I had purchased them. I never looked back. The Aigle boots are really light to wear, good for walking, and they fit snugly around the foot, so, no chafing or blisters. They’re also made from a very high quality rubber that stays flexible, without cracking, for years. This flexibility is especially noticeable around the ankle, where you need it most. The grip is surprisingly good in most conditions and the buckles on the side pull the top of the boot in to fit snugly around your calf. The lining of the boot is made from a fabric that allows you to push a socked foot in and out, with no problem. I’ve lived in these boots on and off for years, and my healthy feet have thanked me!
